The following steps are to show how to open up Inbound ports on the
WindowsXP Firewall

Click on Start / Control Panel |

Click on Network Connections |

Right click on Local Area Connection |
|
4. |
Click on Properties |
|
5. |
Click on the Advanced tab |
 |

Click on the Settings button |

Click on the Exceptions tab |
 |

8. |
Click on the Add Port button |
|
9. |
Type
in a descriptive Name to help you identify the purpose of the port. It needs
to be a unique name |

Type
in the port number you want to open |
 |

11. |
Click on the next three OK buttons |
